Furlough document for Pvt. James Kaun (?), Musician of 1st Lieut. Frank McQuade Company of the 11th Battalion Massachussetts Volunteer Infantry. Gives him permission to go to Lowell, Ma, having received a furlough, and to rejoin his Company or Regiment at Camp near Petersburg, Va. With five signed and dated entries on reverse side "respectfully returned to C.O. 11th Mass. Batt......" Missing a slice from the top of the form (part of the info missing from three of the five entries.) Approximately 8" x 10" overall. SALE $55.00
