Indian Wars Period Soldiers Tole Tin Snuff or Possible Case Small flat semicircular box with hinged cover and fancy engraved decoration on the lid. Has "Edward Haup- Patent_ 211880" stamped on the side. Measures approx. 2 7/8"x 7/8" x ½" high overall. These boxes originally contained water purifiers, very popular during the Civil War. When emptied they were reused as possible tins (boxes) for tobacco, snuff, spice, etc. $ 40.00

Brass/iron compact travel cooking stove heater. removable cover with three hinged fold out supports for holding pot, can, etc. Embossed decorative lid, bottom has six embossed feet with the words "REGISTERED MARCH 28, 1877" on the bottom as well. Wire metal gauze is in great condition, used coal oil(?). Typical to cavalry stoves used in the field out West. $ 100.00
