Rescuer" flanked by anchors; 2nd part is a lifeboat
with crew drop; and from this hangs their badge: life
ring with "U.S. Volunteer Life Saving Corps."
It has an eagle in the center, a fouled anchor and
crossed oars. Has "U.S. Vol. L.S.C." on anchor
top. Inscribed on back "James B. Dryden Staten
Island Sept. 12, 1926." |
